Birthday Present

Hi again folks!
Phew! I'm really chuffed to get an award earlier, hopefully I've followed it correctly, although had trouble linking my blog into the comments boxes! I'll learn one day!
Here is a card I've made for a work colleague's daughter, who's in her early twenties, so I thought this image was perfect and she wanted a really girly card too, which I always love doing. Hope she likes it!

Happy Christmas

Hi Folks,
Here's a couple of cards I've made for my Mother-In-Law, that she asked me to make. I always get scared when people ask me to make cards, I always worry they won't like them. Plus when I asked her if she wanted traditional, religious etc, she said 'oooh, it doesn't matter'! Aaargh! Oh well, just hope she likes them, have got 2 more to do yet though.
Take care.

PB Challenge - Christmas For The Guys

Only me!
Three posts in one night! Crikey, I'll sleep well tonight! I think this is the first time I've actually finished the card on the same day the challenge was set! I only bought this fabulous tree stamp yesterday from my local craft shop too, they usually sit on my desk for afew days, sorry it's weeks sometimes before I use them! Surprised I thought of something so quickly for a mans card, as they are abit more tricky to do, you can't put anything pink and sparkly on them can you! (The cards not the men.)
Anyway, enjoy the rest of weekend, Im off to watch Harry Hill.
Take care.

House Mouse Challenge - Brown & Cream

Hello
Back again! Gosh this was a beast of a challenge! But I enjoyed it though! I didn't quite have all the items on America's list, but hopefully I've passed! I used abit of Flower Soft on his hat and having not used this before I found it abit fiddley to work with, but I think in time I'll just get used to using it. I think I thought it would have abit more of a velvety feel to it!? Anyway, I love this little mouse, he's so cheeky but very cute!
Off now to put my other challenge card on!

PB Challenge - Song Title / Lyrics

Hello Everybody!

Here's my Challenge card, which took me a while to think of! The stamp I've used is called 'Rainin' Daisies', so I thought if I coloured the daisies purple my card could be called 'Purple Rain' by Prince, which is one of my all time favourite songs! Oh and isn't this just the cutest bear!
I'm going to try and do abit of hopping now before hubby gets home. I must get a laptop of my own very soon!
Take care

1st Christmas

Hi Everyone,

Sorry, but it's that white look again! I'm really lovin' this theme as you can tell! Just love this cute little horse too and have stamped him out 3 times, but just made this one card so far and decided it would look really cute for a '1st Christmas' card. I've watercoloured him in using my Tim Holtz distress ink pads which I've not tried before, I know he's only one colour but I've only got two ink pads, sorry did have two ink pads, just ordered afew more! Can't believe I hadn't tried watercolouring with these before, they're fab!

Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Take care.

(on paper anyway!) I've also had the flowers for absolutely ages and this is first time I've used them and yep I've used yet more of those pearls. I may have to go shopping for some more!

Will scoot off now and get some more crafting done while I seem to be on a major roll!!

Hiya!

Phew! Two posts in one night!

This is my entry for the Penny Black Saturday Challenge, which I really enjoyed. I think I might do afew more cards along this theme, I loved the simplicity of it and the cards look really classy. Just had to use this gorgeous stamp, it was one of the first I ever bought and it's one of my favourites! And I'm loving pearls at the moment, so used quite afew on here and spritzed the embossing and flowers with 'Pearl' Glimmer Mist! Love it!

Think I will do abit of blog-hopping now, probably till the wee hours, you know what it's like when you start hopping!

Lots of love.
