The Sun Is Out For Bunny

Hi peeps
I think I'm definitely wishing for warm sun with all these spring bunny cards I'm making! So onto today's card, which is the first shadow box card I've made :)
Card recipe:
  • Glitter cardstock from Lawn Fawn for the base.
  • Shadow box die also from Lawn Fawn.
  • Stencil from My Favorite Things for the sky background, which I ink blended with Distress Oxide in the colour Squeezed Lemonade.
  • Distress Oxide ink pads in the colours Twisted Citron, Forest Moss and Antique Linen for ink blending the grass and trees.
  • Stamped the cute bunny from Hello Bluebird onto Strathmore Bristol Smooth cardstock with a Versafine ink pad.
  • Coloured him with Faber-Castell Polychromo pencils and fussy cut him out.
  • Die cut a banner and stamped a sentiment onto it in green ink and softly ink blended it with the colour Antique Linen.
  • Assembled the card together with double-sided tape and popped a few flowery embellishments on for the finishing touch.
Thank you for visiting today :)

Roll On Springtime!

Hi peeps!
Here again! Two days in a row is almost unheard of for me! ;D  I think I might be pining for some spring like weather as I've continued with the cute bunnies and the cutest treehouse ever!

Card recipe:

  • Pearlised white card for the base.
  • Smooth white cardstock for the scenery.
  • Cloud stencil from My Favorite Things, used for the sky, ink blended with Distress Oxide in the colour Tumbled Glass.
  • Treehouse die from Hello Bluebird, I die cut this four times altogether then layered for depth. Ink blended the top layer with Distress Oxide in the colours Vintage Photo and Forest Moss.
  • Cloud die also from Hello Bluebird, I used this for the treetop, I then ink blended it with Distress Oxide in the colours Twisted Citron and Forest Moss.
  • Ink blended the grass foreground in the same colours as the treetop.
  • Stamped the bunnies and wee birds (from Hello Bluebird) onto Strathmore Bristol Smooth cardstock with Versafine ink.
  • Coloured them with my Faber-Castell Polychromo pencils and fussy cut them out.
  • Die cut the treehouse add-ons out of dark yellow cardstock.
  • Assembled the card together with double-sided tape, 3D foam and liquid glue for the teeny tiny bits.
And another card finished!
Thank you for visiting today :)

Hi peeps!
Is it too late to wish you all a Happy New Year?! I cannot believe we're already at the end of January! I've been a busy bee lately and can't wait to really get my teeth into this year! :D
So let's start with my first card of 2020 featuring some super cute bunnies from Hello Bluebird.
Card recipe:
  • Pearlised cardstock for the base.
  • Smooth white cardstock for the panel, die cut with a stitched rectangular die from My Favorite Things.
  • Cloud stencil also from My Favorite Things, ink blended with Distress Oxide in the colour Tumbled Glass.
  • Die cut grass from smooth white cardstock with a die from Hello Bluebird, then ink blended with Distress Oxide in the colours Twisted Citron and Forest Moss.
  • Stamped the bunnies, bird and wee vegetables onto Strathmore Bristol smooth cardctock with Versafine ink.
  • Coloured them all with my Faber-Castell Polychromo pencils.
  • Stamped the sentiment, also from Hello Bluebird onto white cardstock with green ink, then ink blended this with the same colour as the sky.
  • Die cut the sentiment with a banner die from Lawn Fawn.
  • Then assembled the card together with double-sided tape and 3D foam and for the finishing touch I added some glossy dots with Nuvo Crystal Drops in the colour Duck Egg Blue.
