Creative Inspirations Challenge - Thank You

Evening Folks
Phew! Another challenge blog I've found! The theme being 'Thank You', I just had to get my Penny Blacks out again I'm afraid. This cute little hedgie with his bunch of roses fits it nicely, took me ages to fiddle about with the layout before deciding to cut out a couple of the roses from the paper!! I then went round the edges of them with 'Starlite Silver' Brilliance ink pad and some Stickles Glitter Glue to make them stand out abit more.
Thank you for looking. Take care.

Simon says.......Party!!!

Hi Folks
Hope everyone is well. I've decided to enter the Simon Says Stamp Challenge for the first time this week, this is one of my new years resolutions, to enter more challenges. Their theme is 'party', so just had to get my Penny Blacks out and this one is called 'partying', which is perfect! Hooray! And I found some long forgotten paper with cupcakes on which goes very well with the theme I think. Double hooray!
I had a go at tidying my craft room yesterday!! I've actually got space on my desk now, I can fit my guilotine (apologies if it's spelt wrong but you know what I mean!) on there now, well just, it still hangs off the edge abit! Will have to persuade hubby that I need some shelves on the wall. Hee hee!
Take care.

House Mouse Challenge - Winter Wishes

Afternoon Folks
Here's my card for the House Mouse challenge which was 'Winter Wishes' and you can interpret the theme any way you like. I hope! I really didn't want to make another christmas card however, some friends of ours just had a baby boy yesterday so this was perfect timing! Hooray! I've been wanting to do a card with this little chap for ages too so thought this along with one of my favourite embossing folders would be perfect for the theme of the challenge. Isn't this just the cutest baby bunny you've ever seen?
Anyway, I'm afraid I'm going to have to get the rest of the pressies wrapped! Hope you all have a fabulous Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Take care.

PB Challenge - Christmas Charm

I'm back!
Here's my card for the PB Challenge which is to use a christmas charm, so decided I would make my own! I bought some shrink plastic ages ago and been too scared to use it! But, finally after 7 attempts I finally got it flat! I ended up baking it in the oven in the end, as I just couldn't get it right using my heat tool. Phew! This is also another card for my sister cos the vouchers wouldn't fit in the other square card I made a couple of weeks ago. Doh!
Will hopefully get lots of crafting done now as I've got 2 weeks off! Woo-hooooo!
Take care.

Snow Photos

Hi Folks
Finally took some piccies of the snow! These were took at 3.30pm this afternoon and to my delight our poor back garden actually looks better with a few inches of snow on top! We had everything pulled out earlier this year cos it was like a jungle but now it looks abit empty, ah well it'll give me something to do in the springtime. Hopefully back in a bit with my Penny Black Challenge.

Cards for Brothers

Evening Folks
I'm still here! Where has the last week or so gone?! Well, I think I'm nearly finished with my Crimbo cards, however, I do have another brother so I'll just have one more to do! Hope you are all well and not snowed in like we are! Hubby couldn't get out of our close this morning and it started snowing again about an hour ago and is still going strong.
Back soon.
Take care.

Black & White Birthday

Hi Folks
Promised I'd be back! Here's another card for a work colleagues daughter, decided to it black and white this time. I wanted to do the dress with red glitter glue but would you believe it, I don't have any! I've got enough stuff to open a shop but no red glitter glue! However, I do love the 'Black Diamond' Stickles glitter glue, it looks fab. Back in abit with another card.

PB Challenge - Christmas for the Girls

Hello Everyone
I'm sorry I haven't blogged lately, but was abit poorly last week. Here's my challenge card for this week, which is for my little sister. I've got her some clothes vouchers (don't worry she doesn't read my blog!) for christmas, bit boring I know but what else do you get for a very picky teenage sister?! So I'll finish it off by putting a pocket inside for the vouchers I think.
This is also my first card I've coloured with Promarkers, which I'm quite pleased with, but think I need to practise abit more with them!
Anyway, off out soon for a scrummy meal out to celebrate hubby's birthday. Promise I'll make more of an effort this week!
Take care.
