Hearts & Flowers

Hi again Folks
Why does the weekend go so quickly? Perhaps I should get up earlier! But had some fun this afternoon making this card for the JustMagnolia Challenge, which is, you guessed it 'Hearts & Flowers'. Not sure if I've ruined the paper flowers though? I put some Stickles Distress Glue around the edges, then when it had dried I decided I didn't like it so went over that with some Stickles Glitter Glue! Hmmm, still can't decide? I do love my new deep edge Martha Stewart punches though! They're fab! I've also gone abit mad with the glitter glue on the background paper, hope you can see this!
Take care and thanks for looking.

Someone Special

Evening Folks
Here's my card for the PennyBlack Challenge, which is a card for 'Someone Special' and the Fussy&Fancy Challenge and their theme is 'Hearts', so I'm being organised and made my hubby's valentine card. Love this new stamp, he's so gorgeous.
Now then, I'm having problems uploading my award I got from Mandy the other day!! I thought you copied and pasted it in the 'Add Image' box in your 'New Post'?? Am I doing it wrong? The really annoying thing is I've added an award on before and was sure that was how I did it last time! Can anyone help? I'm tearing my hair out!!
Thank you for looking and enjoy the rest of weekend.

Something Sweet

Evening Folks
I'm back again! Aren't these hedgies soooo sweet!! This is my card for the PennyBlackChallenge with their theme being 'Something Sweet'! I've seen alot of doilies on peoples cards just lately and not being able to find any small enough (the only ones I could find are for 12 inch plates!) I suddenly remembered I had these doily stamps! Hooray! So I stamped it onto some parchment and heat embossed it in sparkly white powder and I think I can just about get away with it. Hee hee!
Back soon, take care and thanks for looking.

Baking Tilda

Evening Folks
Well would you believe I haven't done a Tilda card for aaaages!! Love this cute little one with her cakes and I've done abit of masking too, which I haven't dared do before but I'm really pleased with the result. Now then, I'm entering this into a couple of challenges so here goes (which is about my limit, I'm rubbish at combining them!), JustMagnolia Challenge which is 'Thank You' and the ABC Challenge, their theme is 'M for Masking'. Really enjoyed my Tilda card! Must do more! In fact I've been very naughty and ordered some new Tilda stamps on pre-order at SirStampalot !! Ooops!
Take care everyone and thank you for looking.

Well this card hasn't quite gone how I planned it but I think I'm happy with it now, it's for the PennyBlackChallenge and there were 2 sketches to choose from and I chose No. 2 or you could have done them both, which I was going to do but faffed about so much with this one I thought by the time I finished the other we'd be onto next weeks challenge! I won't bore you with the details of how many times I changed my mind about which papers to use etc!! As I said my mojo has come back, but slowly! Anyhoo, think I'll do abit of hopping now.

Chocolate Box

Afternoon Folks
Hope everyone is well and warm. Here I go with me challenges again! This one is for two combined, the first one being SimonSays Stamp Challenge, which is either 'Hot Chocolate' or pink/brown colour theme, I found these papers which are just lush and then found this little chap in a chocolate box! I'm also entering it into the ABC Challenge, their theme is layering. We've had more snow here in the night again and this morning, so I think I'll stay in this weekend! I don't do snow, I just like looking at it from a nice warm house!
Take care and thank you for looking.

Bunny In Paradise

Afternoon Folks
Well abit more snow fell last night and this morning, so the school I work at was closed today, which means I get to play all day! Yippee!
I'm entering this card into the HouseMouseChallenge their theme being 'On The Beach'. I've definately got a seaside thing going on at the mo! It's all this blooming freezing weather making everyone wish they were somewhere warmer. I've used some more paper from Basic Grey, ooh I love their designs, I've had this paper for a while now so thought I ought to use more of it! I've also used my deep-edge border punch from Martha Stewart again, it's called a 'Daisy' punch but I think it looks more like a shell. I then cut the design out and you can just see them peeping behind the flowers! Anyhoo, I think I'll make the most of this day off and get some more crafting done!
Stay warm and thanks for looking.

Beach Hammock

Hi Folks
Hope everyone is well and is coping with the snow this week, which we've managed to avoid apart from a slight covering......so far anyway! But it's very cold out there so I decided to do a card with this little chap on and daydream that I'm on a beach somewhere far away. I'm entering this for the PennyBlack and the Cuttlebug Challenges, both themes being Happy New Year and he looks like he's toasting one to us doesn't he? I've used possibly my most used Cuttlebug folder 'Divine Swirls', cos it looks abit like the sea and covered it in Stickles Glitter Glue, cos you can never have too much glitter can you and used my Sakura Glaze pen on his sunglasses and cocktail glass to make them all shiny. I then remembered I bought some shells ages ago and sat and thought about how to put them on and bingo I didn't think it needed much else on there! Oh I love papercrafting and sometimes wonder what I'd do without it! But, I'm afraid there's housework to be done! Booo!
Take care and thank you for looking.

Lemon Lips

Afternoon Folks
Here's my card for the new challenge blog - 'Fussy & Fancy Friday Challenge' - their challenge was for something new, so I used my new House Mouse stamp, which came through my door this morning! My new deep edge Martha Stewart paper punch, which is just FAB! I think I may have to get a couple more of these and some paper from a new pad from Basic Grey, which is just lovely. I kind of stuck with the same colour theme as yesterday as I really liked the freshness of it. Oh and my new nesties too! (Santa forgot to bring me any crafty pressies, but was very kind in giving me some money to get my own!)Hee hee!
Well, we're supposed to be in for some snow this weekend, so that means I can play all day in my craft room! Yippee!
Take care.

Colour Create Challenge - Lemon & Lime

Afternoon Folks
Hope you are not too hungover! Yep, I've found another challenge, really enjoyed this one, it was lovely to do really fresh colours. I bought this hedgie a while ago now so was desparate to use him and also the little daffodils bought them ages ago too! But my border paper punch from Martha Stewart is brand new! However, I'm sure I'm not alone where you buy more crafty stuff and then not use it for ages! Am I?
Wishing you and your families a Marvellous New Year!
Take care.
