Squeak 'n' Tweet

 Hi everyone!

Wow I haven't made a card with a House Mouse stamp for years! So to begin with I made the background with a cloud stencil from My Favorite Things and ink blended with ink pads from Catherine Pooler in the colours Pixie Dust and It's A Boy, then splattered over it with the same ink colours.

I stamped the House Mouse image and also some extra flowers and leaves from Sunny Studio with a Versafine ink pad onto Botanical Ultra Smooth watercolour paper. I painted everything with my Faber-Castell Albrecht Durer watercolour pencils and fussy cut it all out.

I die cut the sentiment out four times, layered together for depth and covered it with Nuvo Glitter Drops.

Then for the finishing touches, I added a few sequins and more Nuvo Glitter Drops.

Happy Monday! And it is for alot of people here in the UK as it's a Bank Holiday! Yay! It does mean rain though! Oh well, perfect crafting weather ;D  Anyhoo, it's also time for a new challenge over at House Mouse & Friends and our theme this fortnight is all things yummy scrummy in your tummy!

This stamp is fabulous and MASSIVE! It took me an hour and a half to colour in with my Distress Markers and I found a cute little stamp for the inside too, you can just see him peeking out. Oh and I've distressed around the image with 'Antique Linen' and used Liquid Pearls and 'Clear Rock Candy' dry glitter aswell, I love this glitter it looks like sparkly sugar :)
