Yappy Birthday

 Hi everyone!

Yet another gorgeous summers day today! Perfect for frisbee throwing lol! 

It was ma boy's 12th birthday the other week and this is the card I made him. The background was a bit of an experiment which I ended up liking. I blended some inks on the paper by smooshing the ink onto my glass media mat, spritzing with water and dabbing the paper into it, then when it was dry I sponged some white gouache paint on top with a watercolour sponge.

You Are So Deer To Me

 Hello peeps!

It was my little sister's big birthday last month so I had to do the right thing and make a card with some old photos of her lol! I printed them out in sepia tones so the colours wouldn't clash with my theme for the card and also it made the pictures look even older ;D

I went through my collection of stamps from Hello Bluebird and came up with the idea of a woodland party. I really enjoyed putting together the layout and deciding where all the wee characters would go :)
