For You Pops

Hi everyone!

It was my Father-in-law's birthday yesterday and this is the card I made him. I battled with this one, the background stamp didn't stamp properly, I think because I tried to stamp onto blended Distress Oxide ink that wasn't quite dry with Distress Oxide ink :(  Anyway, I didn't have time to start all over again so it had to do!

On to the details, the cute doggy and sentiment stamps are from Penny Black Inc, which I've watercoloured with my Distress Inks and done some shading with my Prismacolor Premier coloured pencils.

The background stamp is from Simon Says Stamp.

The letter dies are from Memory Box which I've die cut three times each and layered so they stand out.

The Distress Oxide ink colours I used for blending are Speckled Egg and Vintage Photo.

For the finishing touch I used my silver Wink Of Stella pen for a wee bit of sparkle on the pup's collar.

Triple Treat

Hi everyone!

I'm back with a few orders I've just finished and I chose some super sweet hedgies and mousies from Penny Black Inc, can't go wrong with these for a cute card design.

I watercoloured these critters with my Distress Inks. For the cloud backgrounds I used a stencil from My Favorite Things and used Distress Oxide Inks for the blending.

The letter dies are from Memory Box, I die cut each letter three times and layered for a 3D effect. The sentiment stamp is from Clearly Besotted and for the finishing touches I used my Wink Of Stella pen for some sparkle and jewel embellishments for the dots of the letter 'i'.

Whimsical Wishes

Hi folks!

It was my sister's birthday on Monday and this is the card I made her. She has two brown/black tabby cats so this stamp set from My Favorite Things was purrfect! I just wasn't brave enough to paint some stripes on them ;D

I've watercoloured with my Distress Inks, the sentiment stamp is also from MFT. I finished off with my Wink Of Stella pen for some sparkle and added a few pearls. Voila!

Grass Cake

Hi everybody!

I'm back with a fun card using another background stamp from Hello Bluebird and a fab moo cow stamp from Penny Black Inc called 'Grass Cake', just love the cup 'n' saucer! :D

I've watercoloured with my Distress Inks and did a bit more shading with my Caran d'Ache Pablo coloured pencils.

I stamped a sentiment from My Favorite Things on there, used Glossy Accents on the balloons and my Wink Of Stella pen for a wee bit of sparkle.

Let's Party

Hi everyone!

Another month going by pretty speedily! Anyhoo, my card today features a super adorable critter stamp from Penny Black Inc and a scenic background stamp from Hello Bluebird.

I spent a good couple of hours watercolouring this card with my Faber-Castell Albrecht Durer pencils. Stamped a sentiment with a stamp from Craftwork Cards, finishing off with some Glossy Accents on the balloons to make them shiney and some sparkle here and there with my Wink Of Stella pen. Yay! A lovely summery card!

Piggy Wiggy Woos

Boy is it hot out there today! A wee bit too hot for us, anyhoo, on to my card which you may have guessed is the one I made for my Dad for Father's Day. It's a shadowbox one, which is only the second one that I've ever made and was pleased with how it turned out ;D
