First Christmas Fun

 Merry Christmas everyone

Wishing you all a safe and peaceful one :)

This is my last crimbo card of the year, I've used some slimline card dies from Mama Elephant, die cut the name with letter dies from Memory Box, then ink blended with Distress Oxide ink pads in the colours Tumbled Glass and Broken China and turned it into the shaker bit of the card with acetate, 3D foam tape and lots of wee stars and snowflakes.

For the snow I've used some Snow-Tex paint. The super sweet reindeers are from Pretty Pink Posh, stamped with a Versafine ink pad on to Botanical Ultra Smooth watercolour paper, painted with my Faber-Castell Albrecht Durer pencils and for the bambi style white dots I used a Sakura Gelly Roll pen.

Rejoice

 Hi everyone

I'm back with a couple of Christmas cards I made for an order, not my usual style but I was quite happy with how they turned out.

The image stamp is a digital one from Star Jam Lines @ Etsy. Even though my printer ink is not waterproof I managed to paint them with my Faber-Castell Albrecht Durer watercolour pencils, I think that's because when I use my pencils I don't use anywhere near the amount of water with them than when I do with normal watercolour paints, if that makes sense! :D  I've also used some yummy gold handmade watercolour paint which has shown up quite nicely in the photos.

I've ink blended around the images with Distress Oxide ink pads and popped some teeny tiny gold stars on too.

The word die is from Hello Bluebird, which I've die cut four times and layered for depth.

Oh So Jolly

 Hi everyone

I'm back with the cutest foxes from Hello Bluebird which I've stamped on to Botanical Ultra Smooth watercolour paper with a Versafine ink pad.

I then painted them with my Faber-Castell Albrecht Durer pencils and fussy cut them out.

The frame die is from Avery Elle and the sentiment die is from Mama Elephant, which I've die cut both four times each and layered for depth.

And for the finishing touch I've added little clay snowflakes.

Time For Joy

 Hello everyone

I have more cuteness from Hello Bluebird in the form of bunny stamps and the framed tree die :D

As always I've stamped the bunnies on to Botanical Ultra Smooth watercolour paper with a Versafine ink pad. Painted them with my Faber-Castell Abrecht Durer pencils and fussy cut them out.

I die cut the framed tree four times and layered for depth, stamped the sentiment with a Versafine ink pad and popped some wee clay snowflakes on to finish.

Happig Holidays

 Hello everyone!

Aren't these the cutest wee piggies! They're from Hello Bluebird who have some the sweetest critter stamps out there.

I've stamped them onto Botanical Ultra Smooth watercolour paper with a Versafine inkpad, painted them with my Faber-Castell Albrecht Durer pencils and fussy cut them out.

I die cut the frame and sentiment four times each and layered for depth and die cut the wee trees just once. I popped 3D foam squares on the back of the wee piggies and adhered everything to the patterened papers.

For the finishing touch I popped on some tiny clay snowflakes :)

Winter Woodland

 Hi everyone!

Christmas is coming thick 'n' fast! I've been busy doing orders and still have lots to do, but determined to get them all finished by early December! :D

The image stamp I've used is from Lili Of The Valley, stamped with a Versafine ink pad onto Botanical Ultra Smooth watercolour paper.

I've painted with my Faber-Castell Albrecht Durer watercolour pencils and a wee bit of gold handmade watercolour paint.

Next I ink blended with a couple of Distress Oxide inks and splattered with white acrylic paint for the snowfall effect.

The branch background stamp is from Penny Black Inc, also stamped with a Versafine ink pad.

The sentiment die is from Pretty Pink Posh, which I've die cut four times and layered for depth.

For the finishing touches I've used white texture paste and Diamond Dust Twinklets for the snow, some white Flower Soft on her hat and scarf and a wee heart embellishment above the 'i'.

Thank you for visiting today, stay safe.

Angelic Christmas

 Hello everyone!

I've been busy crafting for Christmas today, about time really!

The first two cards are using stamps from Hello Bluebird, stamped using Distress Ink and Ink on 3 ink pads. I then painted them with my Faber-Castell Albrecht Durer watercolour pencils, some gorgeous sparkly gold watercolour paint and also some pale pearlescent paint, both of which unfortunately hasn't shown up very well in the photos.

I ink blended around the images with a Distress Oxide ink pad in the colour Antique Linen.

To finish off, the sentiment stamps are a variety from Hello Bluebird, Penny Black Inc and Simon Says Stamp, I stamped these with a Versafine ink pad.

Snappy Birthday

 Hi everyone!

Another month has disappeared somewhere! I do love autumn though  :)

Onto my card, I decided to make this a fun shaker one. The fab crocodile stamps are from Heffy Doodle, I stamped them onto Botanical Ultra Smooth watercolour paper with an Archival ink pad.

I painted the crocs with Distress Inks, fussy cut them out and added 3D foam pads on the back of them.

I then die cut the 'Happy Birthday' out of plain white cardstock, stuck acetate on the back, then carefully stuck down all the middle bits from the die cut on to the front of the acetate. I then added 3D fun foam on the back, filled with sprinkles and stars and stuck a piece of cardstock on (which I ink blended with Distress Oxide in the colour Wilted Violet).

I then ink blended the front with Distress Oxide in the colour Squeezed Lemonade, popped the crocs on and a few stars and voila! Oh and I added a wee bit of sparkle with my Wink Of Stella pen :)

Inhale The Future

 Hello everyone!

I'm back with another card and another rainbow! :D

I stamped the image, which is from Stamping Bella, with an Archival ink pad onto Botanical Ultra Smooth watercolour card, painted it and the rainbow with my new Mijello Mission Gold watercolours.

I then used a Distress Oxide ink pad in the colour Tumbled Glass for a few stencilled clouds and blended with it around the image.

For the finishing touches I added some shimmer with a Wink Of Stella pen, glued a few wee stars on and stamped the sentiment with the same Archival ink pad. And voila! Another card finished! :)

Baby Shower

 Hi everyone!

My sister called me on Saturday night in a flap because she couldn't find a baby shower card anywhere and needed one for the next day! What on earth do you put on a baby shower card? Anyhoo, eventually this design popped into my head, probably because there's rainbows everywhere at the moment ;D

So to start with I painted a rainbow! :D  I then used a cloud stencil from My Favorite Things with a Distress Oxide ink pad in the colour Tumbled Glass.

The word die is from Marianne Design, which I die cut four times and layered for depth and the letter stamps are from Stampin' Up.

For the finishing touch I added some wee coloured clay hearts as a kind of 'shower' effect :)

80 Wishes

 Hi everyone

Not sure what happened to August!? Anyhoo, I needed to make a special big birthday card for today, so as always I was making it last minute yesterday! ;D

The big number templates I've had ages are from Craftwork Cards, which I drew around and watercoloured with my Distress Inks. The flower and leaf stamps are from Cardio-Majestix, I stamped these using Versa Color ink pads. And the cute wee dragonflies are from Pretty Pink Posh, I painted these with Distress Inks and pearlescent paint from Altenew.

The sweet dragonfly stamps are also available in my papercraft shop HERE.

Birthday Roses

Hi everyone!
It was my Dad's birthday on Sunday and this is card I made him, slightly different to what I first had in mind but men like flowers too right?

The stamp is from Penny Black Inc, which I stamped with a Distress Ink 'Antique Linen' ink pad onto Botanical ultra smooth watercolour card and also painted with Distress Inks. I then stamped and embossed the 'Dad' sentiment with a Versamark ink pad and silver embossing powder, then decided to go over that with silver Stickles glitter glue. The 'Happy Birthday' stamp was stamped with a Memento ink pad.

For the finishing touch I die cut three tiny butterflies, painted them with a shimmery purple watercolour paint and stuck them on :D

Pretty Peony

Hi everyone!

I hope you're all well. I fancied painting this fabulous and massive stamp from The Ton. It took a good couple of hours! I used Distress Inks to watercolour, some gold watercolour paint and a wee bit of coloured pencil on top for a bit more shading.

I then decided to emboss the edges with gold embossing powder. I was going to pop a sentiment on there too but I changed my mind ;D

For You Pops

Hi everyone!

It was my Father-in-law's birthday yesterday and this is the card I made him. I battled with this one, the background stamp didn't stamp properly, I think because I tried to stamp onto blended Distress Oxide ink that wasn't quite dry with Distress Oxide ink :(  Anyway, I didn't have time to start all over again so it had to do!

On to the details, the cute doggy and sentiment stamps are from Penny Black Inc, which I've watercoloured with my Distress Inks and done some shading with my Prismacolor Premier coloured pencils.

The background stamp is from Simon Says Stamp.

The letter dies are from Memory Box which I've die cut three times each and layered so they stand out.

The Distress Oxide ink colours I used for blending are Speckled Egg and Vintage Photo.

For the finishing touch I used my silver Wink Of Stella pen for a wee bit of sparkle on the pup's collar.

Thank you for visiting today and have a lovely weekend!
